We want every purchase from ROMU to bring you a sense of calm. If something does not meet your expectations, we are here to help.
14-Day Reflection Period
In accordance with EU distance selling regulations, you have the right to change your mind and return your order within 14 days of delivery.
Tea & Food Products
For health protection and hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Opened packages of tea or matcha.

Products with a broken protective seal. We can only accept returns for food products that remain in their original, sealed condition.
Accessories & Incense
Accessories (chawan, whisks, spoons) and Japanese incense can be returned if they:

Are unused and in their original condition.

Are in their original packaging.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please email us at hello@romutea.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with the return shipping address.
Please note: the cost of return shipping is borne by the customer, except in cases where the item was delivered damaged or incorrect.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you received a damaged item or the wrong product — we deeply apologize for the disruption of your ritual. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you. Refunds are processed within 14 days to your original payment method.
